She’ll cry loud and long if anyone plays the sexist card on her.
“...the twilight of his career...”
I will stay in bed on Election Day before I cast a vote for Hillary Clinton.

If I played the age card it would be more along the lines of “can he make it 4 years?”, not whatever that was.

It’s a fair question, I have to admit, but then again, we do frown upon age discrimination in the US. And how do we ask that question, and be precluded from asking if Hillary’s being a woman would keep
her
from lasting four years so, to be consistent, the first question really needs to be left off the table, and Bernie needs to be careful in his choice of a vice-Bernie.

Exactly what Hillary’s David Brock was supposedly insinuating with his call for for Bernie’s medical records (later denied/redacted). Also Kasich’s age joke.

Yep, 69 years old in October!

“She’s definitely got some sister in her,” Bernice Scott, a Clinton supporter in South Carolina, told The New York Times in reference to how impressed she was of Clinton’s demeanor in front of Congress when questioned during the most recent hearing on the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi.
Scott added: “She didn’t back down.”
So Bernie must be the blackest person ever, right?

Well Hillary doesn’t have anything that might kill her in the near future, so there’s that...
If Bern does get elected yeah, I’d be pretty interested in who his VP would be. He honestly doesn’t look like his dying in the next 4 years would be against the odds.

I think that’s a more nuanced remark than it sounds at face value. Even still, Hillary is not very Black and Bernie isn’t either, but Bernie wouldn’t claim to be, and wouldn’t need to in order to be taken seriously by members of the Black community. We’ve come a long way as a nation since Bill Clinton was president.

Was he old when he ran?

Well technically no, but the debate was if (lol) Nixon was to be elected and then retire from office, who wanted that man as VP.

The man is 74, he’ll live to at least 80.
I wonder what would happen if Bernie and/or Trump ran as independents... I could see the possibility of a 135 electoral vote win...

Couldn’t have said it better myself. I will always say, no matter how bad the republicans may be, they are nothing compared to her.

But the supreme irony, which is embedded in my comment, is that I am a Democrat. And the reason that I find Donald Trump’s ascendancy so hillarious is that Trump is not a Republican. Trump should run as not D nor R, but I for ironic .
I’m a Democrat, but I do not consider myself a Liberal , which is why I enjoy watching Liberals foam at the mouth at the specter of the Trump candidacy. Trump is Liberal kryptonite.
And now that the other riff raff are dropping out, a Republican television debate begins to gain meaning.

I’m aware of that, and I also agree that Trump is not a republican at all (He’s from New York for god’s sake, no one conservative has hailed from New York).
For the record, I’m a Libertarian with some conservative leanings in some issues, so it’s not like I’m a diehard ultra conservative person who’s all “Yay republicans! Boo Dems!”

I probably ought to consider myself a Libertarian as well but for now, I’m a contrarian Democrat.
